Hey there! If you’re passionate about sleep medicine, the International Assembly is the place to be. This online community offers an awesome chance for sleep professionals from around the globe to connect and learn from each other. Plus, if you’re living outside the U.S., you’re automatically part of this vibrant assembly!
What We Do:
The assembly serves as a bridge between sleep medicine practitioners, technologists, and associations worldwide. Our goal is to foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels included and valued. We aim to raise awareness of our standards and practices internationally while supporting initiatives that integrate our global members more fully.
Goals for 2025/2026:
- Keep the community on the Engage platform friendly and inviting.
- Boost global awareness of our organization’s standards.
- Support initiatives that enhance the integration of international members.
How to Get Involved:
Getting started is easy! Just log into your account at engage.snorple.com (make sure your info is up to date). From there, head to “My Communities” and find your assembly group(s) to jump into conversations and connect with fellow members. If you’re in the U.S. and want to join, just let us know!
Meet Our Ambassadors:
We’re excited to introduce our International Ambassadors who represent members from various regions. They work hard to advance the field of sleep medicine in their local areas.
For example, meet Sarah Thompson, our Co-Chair from Europe. She’s a sleep specialist with years of experience and is dedicated to raising awareness about sleep disorders. She believes that bridging sleep societies is crucial for enhancing public understanding of these issues.
Then there’s David Kim, our Ambassador from Asia. He’s a clinical professor who focuses on the molecular mechanisms of sleep disorders. His research interests also extend to pediatric sleep issues, and he’s been actively involved in promoting sleep health in his community.
