Current Memberships
How do I log in?
Simply click “Login” at the top right corner of the website and enter your email and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, just click “Forgot password” to reset it. Remember, your username is your email address!
How can I change my membership category?
If you’d like to switch your membership category, just drop a note to our membership team.
Why is my home address not in the Membership Directory?
To protect your privacy, only business addresses are listed in the directory.
Joining and Renewing Memberships
Can I sign up over the phone?
Unfortunately, that’s not an option. The easiest way is to apply online, but you can also send in a paper application.
If I join mid-year, when does my membership expire?
Memberships run on a calendar year, so they expire at the end of December. If you join between October and December, you’ll enjoy the rest of this year and a full year next year!
How do I apply for student membership?
You’ll need a letter from your dean or supervisor on official school or sleep center letterhead confirming your student status. Upload this letter if you apply online or attach it to your paper application.
How can I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership in three ways: online, over the phone, or by mailing, faxing, or emailing your renewal form.
What if I forgot my login info?
Just hit the “Forgot Password” link and enter your email address. We’ll send your login info to you.
If I work at a facility that’s a member, am I also a member?
Not necessarily. Facility and individual memberships are separate and each has its own benefits.
Why did membership dues increase this year?
This is the first dues increase since 2014, reflecting added benefits and rising costs. Despite this, our membership fees remain among the lowest in the field.
Payment Questions
Do you accept purchase orders for payment?
Sorry, we don’t accept purchase orders. We accept checks and major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
How can I get a copy of my membership receipt?
A receipt is automatically sent to your email, but you can request another copy if needed.
What’s your refund policy?
If you cancel within two weeks of registration, you can get a full refund by writing to us.
What are the AASM lobbying expenses?
About 2% of your dues in 2024 will go towards nondeductible lobbying expenses, so you’ll need to adjust any deductions accordingly.
Automatic Renewal Program
What’s the automatic renewal program?
By signing up, you allow us to automatically charge your card each year unless you choose to cancel. You’ll get a reminder each November.
How do I enroll?
Existing members can log in and enable automatic renewals in their account settings. New members can opt in during the registration process.
How can I cancel?
You can cancel your automatic renewal by the first Friday in December through your account or by contacting us.
